Safe City Project

What is the Safe City Project?

The Safe City Project came from the hearts of our senior pastors to create change in our community through practically being the hands and feet of Christ.

This is our annual community make over project in which we paint, build, clean, weed, plant, dust a local school or community building. Simply, we believe in restoring HOPE back into the Sunshine Coast – and this – the Safe City Project is our way of doing so. 

The projects are put into action through an army of volunteers from our church who give of their time and energy to see theses projects become a success. We also have a large number of local businesses that donate or discount their products for us so we are able to achieve the project without a huge financial outlay, for these we are so thankful!!!

Where is it?

Our project for 2011, we will be making over the Chevallum Primary School. We are so excited for this years project and believe it will forever change the students and teachers lives in a dramatic way.

What can I do?

If you can do any type of manual or physical labour in the yard, we would love for you to get involved!!! We have opportunities for cooks to fry up a storm for our hungry workers to! Just sign up on Sunday, or email us with your contact details and skills and we’ll be in touch!!!
