Chloe’s Story

I was baptised in June 2025 after attending Suncoast Church for about two years.

Leading up to being baptised I kept being drawn by the Holy Spirit to the concept of being ‘fully known’ described in 1 Corinthians 13:12. I knew I was fully known by God, but holding parts of my story back from my family had become a stronghold of fear and shame in my life.

God gave me the strength to break those chains and open up to my family. They came to my baptism, and I was so grateful to be able to make a public commitment to Christ knowing that I had moved past the shame that was holding me back.

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
