Meet Jon & Cass
Jon and Cassie Cizzio have a heart to create a church “over the bridge,” bringing to fruition a tap on the shoulder from God that maybe it was time to do something seriously amazing. Being natural gatherers, over the past year they have been organically bringing people together- even seeing ten people be baptised. A background in youth ministry gives them practical ministry expereince, but more than that- they love God & people and genuienly want to make a difference.
Jon and Cass have gone through the INC (the movment Suncoast belongs to) Pastor training and rumour has it they got gold stars all round.
What is your favourite food - Cass: loco love chocolate all the way!! Jon: Seafood risotto with aged pecorino, chilli oil and drizzle of truffle oil
What are your other jobs - Cass” Roofing business, Veritee - Christian apparel Everyday foundation - onboarding, compliance and development officer. Jon: I own and operate a roofing company on the coast.
Favourite thing to do at home - Cass: hosting friends and have our favourite people around us. Jon: Nothing
What do you love about Suncoast - Cass: I love how suncoast does life with people, walking the walk. Caring for the community and have a genuine heart to do Jesus’s work! Jon: The genuineness of the leaders. Community runs through everything, and you do what you say you’re going to do .
What is your vision for NorthShore? - Cass: to love the people as Jesus does and to get in the dirt with them and guide them to Christ. Jon: A community that connects the north shore together, from Twin Water to Marcoola. They all start being In communion together with hearts burning for Christ.
